"Jungleman12" Takes $319k From Tom Dwan During 2,918 Hand Session

Dwan and Cates, who have only been able to play infrequent and short sessions as of late, managed to play 2,918 hands last night, with "jungleman12" finishing with a profit of $319,103.50 for the session.

17,108 of the required 50,000 hands have now been played, with Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates holding a lead of $819,213.50.

According to Full Tilt Poker, Tom Dwan has won 7,019 of the hands that have been played so far, while Cates has won 9,964. Dwan has won an average of $2,385.70 per hand, while Cates has won an average of $1,762.93 per hand.

"durrrr", who jumped out to a quick $200k lead when the challenge got underway in late August, now finds himself in a big hole.

The biggest hand of the challenge (so far) took place during yesterday's session, with "jungleman12" taking down a $216,505.50 pot.

"durrrr" had the button and around $108k in front of him, while "jungleman12" had around $114k.

"durrrr" raised to $1,200 from the button, "Jungleman12" re-raised to $4,800 and "durrrr" made the call.

The flop came Qc-8h-6h. "jungleman12" led out with a bet of $5,200 and "durrrr" called.

The turn brought the Kh. "jungleman12" led out with a bet of $16,800 and "durrrr" called once again.

The river brought the 3d. "jungleman12" led out with a bet of $43,600, "durrrr" pushed all-in and "jungleman12" made the call. The two players turned up:

"jungleman12" took down the $216,505.50 pot with his superior flush.

According to his Twitter feed, Tom Dwan just returned to Las Vegas after an extended period of traveling, so hopefully there are more frequent "durrrr Challenge" sessions in the near future.
