Over 130 Players Turn Out for PCA High Roller Event

The King is giving the Right-On sign for the latest PCA tournamentBusiness is clearly pretty good for many of the players at the top of the poker food chain, as over 130 players have turned out for this year's $25,000 High Roller event at the PCA (Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure).

In 2010, William Reynolds bested a field of 84 players to take down the PCA $25k High Roller event for $576,240.

At last check, a total of 137 players have registered to play in this year's High Roller event, creating a prize pool of over $3.4 million.

As you can imagine, many members of "Team Pokerstars Pro" are participating in the High Roller event, including the likes of Jonathan Duhamel, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier and Vanessa Rousso. Viktor Blom, who recently revealed himself to the world as the man behind the "Isildur1" alias, is also taking part in the event.

Some of the other recognizable names in the field include Erik Seidel, Justin Bonomo, Freddy Deeb, Luke Schwartz and David Benyamine.

This is a three-day event, with the final day of play taking place on Sunday, January 16th.
