Gus Hansen on a Winning Streak1. Gus Hansen On A Major Upswing. According to our friends at HighStakesDB.com (link below), Gus Hansen is up over $5 million on Full Tilt Poker since the beginning of October.

We often point out Hansen's struggles on this site, so it's only fair that we make mention of the fact that he is in the midst of a big upswing.

According to HighStakesDB, Hansen has managed to rake in over $5 million since the beginning of October over a total of approximately 100k tracked hands. This means that Hansen has made an average of roughly $50 per hand on Full Tilt Poker over the past 4 1/2 months.

The gods have been smiling quite a bit on Gus Hansen as of late. He won his very first World Series of Poker bracelet at the WSOPE in September of 2010, and followed this up with a first place finish in the FullTiltPoker.com Poker Million IX in December, taking home $1,000,000 in the process.

In addition to all of that, Hansen is rumored to be dating tennis pro Caroline Wozniacki.

Hansen is running very hot right now.
