Lee is BackPublished on March 22nd, 2011 8:26 pm EST
In a press release that was circulated earlier today, Pokerstars announced that former Poker Room Manager Lee Jones has returned to the company.
According to the press release, Jones has been named as the new head of Home Games at Pokerstars.
Lee Jones has worked at a number of different companies since originally leaving Pokerstars back in 2007.
After retiring as the Poker Room manager at Pokerstars in April of 2007, Jones decided to work with the European Poker Tour. Jones organized and hosted EPT events, as well as providing some television commentary.
In April of 2008, Cardrunners.com announced that Jones had been hired as the company's new COO (Chief Operating Officer). Jones' stay at Cardrunners ended up lasting about a year.
In May of 2009, Lee accepted a job as Cake Poker's new card room manager. Jones resigned in December of 2010, stating that he was leaving because "management has made some strategic decisions with which Iím not comfortable."
A few short months later and Jones is back in the online poker world, having accepted a position as Pokerstars' new head of Home Games.
Lee had this to say about his new position:
"This is indeed an extraordinary opportunity for me and I'm delighted to be back among both old and new colleagues to take this on. We intend to do some very exciting out-of-the-box things in Home Games and I hope you folks will be pleased with what we do over the coming months and years."
So, in closing - Lee Jones is back at Pokerstars.
