Patrik Antonius - Aussie Millions LogoThe final table of the 2013 Aussie Millions main event is now set.

Mervin Chan, 2,910,000

The winner of the event will walk away with $1.6 million AUD and a car. All of the remaining players in the event are guaranteed at least $150,000 AUD for making it through to the final table.

Given the immense success that Patrik Antonius has enjoyed in the poker world over the past decade or so, it's hard to believe that he hasn't taken down a major poker tournament in nearly eight years.

Despite making tens of millions of dollars over his career, Patrik Antonius only has one major tournament title to his name - the 2005 EPT Baden Classic, which he took down for $343,366 in October of 2005.

Antonius, who is arguably one of the top 3-4 poker players in the world, has not been able to close out another major tournament since 2005, despite a couple of very close calls (2nd in 2012 $250,000 Aussie Millions event, 2nd in 2005 Five Diamond World Poker Classic, 3rd in 2007 WSOP $10k Pot Limit Omaha Championship). Antonius currently has over $5.3 million in total lifetime tournament cashes.

Can Antonius take down the Aussie Millions main event this weekend, or will another major tournament title escape his grasp?
