World Series of Poker - Asia Pacific - Melbourne, Australia - Event Promotion Poster405 players, including the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth and Phil Ivey, ended up playing in the first ever WSOP APAC (Asia Pacific) main event.

About a dozen or so players chose to take advantage of the late registration period that extended into the first few levels of Day 2, which helped to push the event over the 400 player mark.

The 405 player turn-out and $10,000 AUD buy-in ended up creating a total prize pool of $3,847,500 AUD. Here are the final table payouts:
