-Harrah's is privately expecting a maximum of 5k players at this year's WSOP main event

-online poker players continued to show their dominance as FieryJustice, UGOTPZD and Gigabet finished 1,2,3 at the Mirage Poker Open

-Daniel Negreanu is very close to signing with Pokerstars, and a deal should be made public during the World Series of Poker

-Chau Giang was recently spotted playing some lower level cash games and refused to bump up the stakes

-Phil Ivey continues to be immensely bored with tournament poker and continues to spend most of his time on the golf course

-nothing new on the Neteller front

-support for Barney Frank's bill has largely stalled

-Party Poker continues to rebound after the poker legislation, and has recently introduced their Partybets! sports betting site

-Brian "SBRugby" Townsend has been dominating the high limit games on Full Tilt Poker, and is currently up over $1.5 million dollars on the month

-"Imper1um" had a very impressive weekend, capturing the PLH FTOPS tournament on Friday and taking down over $100k on Pokerstars on Sunday while on "vacation" in Paris
