24 Players Left in EPT Barcelona Main Event

The King Report - European Poker TourA 1,234 player field has been narrowed down to just 24 players after the conclusion of Day 4 at the EPT Barcelona main event.

The chip leader heading into Day 5 on Friday will be Tom Middleton, who managed to finish the fourth day of play with a chip stack of just under 4 million in chips. Alejandro Perez will have the second largest stack heading into Day 5, as he managed to finish today with a stack of 3,336,000.

Here are the top 5 chip stacks heading into Day 5 on Friday:

All of the notable names have been eliminated from the tournament, which means that a new star will be made when the tournament reaches its conclusion on Saturday evening.

All 24 of the remaining players in this event will take home a minimum of €29,270 for making it through to Day 5.

The eventual winner of the tournament will walk away with €1,067,000, while the runner-up will walk away with €625.000.
