Early chip leaders in the Ladies event include Anais Lerouge and Laurence Fleury.
Many of poker's top names have spent the last day travelling to Paris for the WSOPE.
This year's WSOPE is taking place at the Casino Barriere in Enghien-les-Bains, which is located just outside of the center of Paris.
As mentioned, this year's WSOPE features a total of eight bracelet events. The two events that will attract the most interest from casual fans are the €10,450 main event (starts on October 19th) and the €25,600 High Roller event (starts on October 22nd).
