World Championship of Online Poker by Pokerstars - Year 2015 - LogoThe finalized schedule for the 2015 WCOOP (World Championship of Online Poker) was released by Pokerstars earlier today.

This year's WCOOP will feature a total of 70 different events and $45 million in total guaranteed prize money. The main event, which will have a buy-in of $5,200, will take place on September 27th and have a total guaranteed prize pool of $10,000,000. The eventual winner of the main event will take home a minimum of $1.5 million.

One of the most notable additions to this year's WCOOP schedule is Event #47. This event, which has been dubbed the "Super High-Roller", will feature a total buy-in of $51,000. The tournament has a total guaranteed prize pool of $1 million, but you can likely safely assume that the final prize pool will be considerably higher. Expect many of the world's top poker professionals, including the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Phil Galfond and Phil Ivey, to take part in this tournament.

Event #1 of the 2015 WCOOP will be a $215 NLHE 6-max tournament that will get underway on September 6th at 11:00 am ET. The final event of the series, Event #70, will be a $1,050 NL Hold'em Turbo event w/ Re-entries that will get underway at 18:30 ET on September 27th.

Last year's WCOOP main event, which was won by Fedor "CrownUpGuy" Holz, ended up attracting a total of 2,142 entries to create a total prize pool of over $10.7 million. Since "Black Friday", the numbers for the WCOOP main event have continued to trend higher.

JC Tran, Yevgeniy Timoshenko and Fedor Holz are just some of the previous winners of the main event - who will take it down this year?
