According to HighStakesDB.com (link below), "Isildur1" is up nearly $4 million ($3,989,114 to be exact) on Pokerstars through October 16th, 2015. These results are far better than anybody else has posted online so far this year, as "Jeans89" is the next biggest winner with a total profit of less than $1 million.

To be fair, however, Blom lost a total of $1,367,244 on Full Tilt Poker earlier in the year before the site decided to close its high stakes cash game doors. Even with this loss, however, Blom remains the biggest online cash game winner this year by far.

In traditional "Isildur1" fashion, Blom has been very busy online, logging over 200,000 hands through the first 9 1/2 months of the year. This is far more than the likes of "Yoghii" (84,524 logged hands) and "$CAMMIN". As is normally the case with Blom, when the Swedish superstar is winning, it is nearly impossible to get him off of the tables. His sessions aren't quite as crazy as they were in 2009, but he is still logging more hands than his competition by a long shot.

When Blom first emerged on the scene in 2009, his games of choice were No Limit Hold'em and Pot Limit Omaha. Who can forget his legendary NLHE matches against Tom "durrrr" Dwan or his ultra-swingy high stakes PLO matches against Phil Ivey and Patrik Antonius?

In recent years, however, Blom has continued to expand his skills, branching off into games such as 2-7 Triple Draw. The efforts have paid off, as evidenced by his results so far this year.
