The King is texting on his golden phone. He is receiving news about the upcoming NJ SCOOPFresh off of their March 21st launch, "Pokerstars NJ" is currently putting the finishing touches on the schedule for the very first SCOOP (Spring Championship of Online Poker) in New Jersey.

The dates for the event haven't been revealed as of yet, though Pokerstars has said that the series will be taking place in May. The series will start and finish on a Sunday, with the entirety of the schedule running over the course of two full weeks.

As of this moment, Pokerstars NJ is planning a total of 27 events for their first SCOOP, including a main event on the final Sunday. Each event will have a "high" and "low" buy-in - the main event, for instance, will have a "high" buy-in of $500 and a "low" buy-in of $50. So, those with bigger bankrolls could choose to play the $50 and $500 main events, while those with smaller bankrolls may choose to stick with the $50 main event.

The separate buy-ins for each event means that there will be a total of 54 tournaments comprising the first SCOOP series in New Jersey.

The majority of the events will feature No Limit Hold'em, though there will also be some other games offered including PL Omaha, Limit Stud and PL Omaha Hi/Lo.

The 2016 Pokerstars NJ SCOOP series will also include the "Pokerstars Championship", which will feature 6-max 8-Game and buy-ins of both $500 and $50.
