The Pokerstars Championship and Pokerstars Festival - New branding / logos / events - Year 2016Earlier this week, Pokerstars released "key dates" for their upcoming Championship and Festival events in 2017.

Earlier this year, Pokerstars announced that they would be rebranding all of their tournament tours, including the European Poker Tour. Now, instead of operating a variety of different regional tours across the world, Pokerstars will be operating "Pokerstars Championship" and "Pokerstars Festival" events.

The "Pokerstars Championship" events will largely consist of the bigger events previously under the "European Poker Tour" banner, including the event in the Bahamas (formerly the Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure) and the event in Monte Carlo. The "Festival" events, on the other hand, will consist of smaller buy-in tournaments that will be hosted in areas where Pokerstars wants to continue to make inroads.

In addition, details of two Festival events - London and Rozvadov - were released by Pokerstars as well. The Pokerstars Festival London will run from January 22-29 and consist of 22 events, while the Pokerstars Festival Rozvadov will run from March 2-13 and consist of 30 events.
