David Benyamine has not only had a great summer, but he has also had an outstanding 2008 in the high stakes cash games on Full Tilt Poker.

According to HighStakesDB.com, Benyamine has made over $3.6 million dollars so far in 2008 (as of August 24th, 2008). Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond is in second place, nearly a million dollars behind Benyamine, with a total profit of $2.75 million dollars.

Not only have both these players been dominating online, but they both collected their first World Series of Poker bracelets earlier this summer (Benyamine in the $10k Omaha Hi/Lo World Championship, and Galfond in the $5k PLO Rebuy event).

"ICallSoWhat" got off to a blistering start in 2008 (he was up almost $2.8 million dollars at the end of April), but has seen his fortunes turn south as of late, and is no longer one of the biggest winners on the site. Since the beginning of June, "ICallSoWhat" has dropped over $2.1 million dollars, which is why he is no longer on the leaderboard.

Tom "durrrr" Dwan is in third place in 2008, having amassed a total profit of $2.425 million dollars.

The top five is rounded out by "CHUFTY" and "Urindanger". "CHUFTY" recently signed a deal with Full Tilt Poker, and will now be playing under his real name, Richard Ashby. The "CHUFTY" alias is up over $2.36 million dollars in 2008, making him the fourth biggest winner on the site YTD. Di "Urindanger" Dang is up just under $1.9 million dollars over 126,690 tracked hands.

Di's brother, Hac "trex313" Dang, has made over $1.7 million dollars so far in 2008.

Phil Ivey has made over $1.5 million dollars so far on the year, having played just 31,334 tracked hands.

On the flip side..

"lady marmelade" is the biggest loser in 2008, having donated a total of $3.22 million dollars to the big games on Full Tilt. This is over just 26,700 tracked hands, which makes the feat even more amazing. "lady marmelade" is rumored to be Guy Laliberte. As a matter of fact, 4 of the top five losers on Full Tilt YTD ("lady marmelade", "patatino", "Bleachbum" and "noataima") are all rumored to be accounts that belong to Guy Laliberte.

John Juanda is the most familiar name in the list of the biggest losers - he has dropped a total of $923k so far in 2008, over 23,519 tracked hands.

So other familiar names in the top ten list of losers include:

Emil "whitelime" Patel (-$770k)
Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies (-$624k)
Eric Liu (-$589k)
