Scott Fischman is definitely a strong contender to win this year's World Series of Poker final event. He already has one high finish in this year's event, finishing second in the $1500 NL Hold'em event (the same event that he won last year.) Fischman is very, very good, and constantly is working on his game. I doubt you will find another poker player who puts in more hands than Scott Fischman.

Fischman put himself on the map last year by winning back to back bracelets, first capturing the NL Hold'em event, and then winning the H.O.R.S.E. event. Fischman used to be a dealer, but had to give it up due to chronic arthitis in his hands. He credits being a dealer as a major reason why his game is so good.

Scott Fischman is going to dominate for years to come; he is only in his mid 20's and puts in more work than pretty much anybody else. Fischman is also part of the infamous "Crew", which also includes Dutch Boyd.

Don't be surprised to see Fischman at the final table this year. He is one of our three picks to win, along with the "Grinder" and Phil Ivey.
