Full Tilt Poker Inks Deal with Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad

-- New addition to the Full Tilt team - Annette Obrestad --According to a Full Tilt Poker press release circulated earlier today, Annette "Annette_15" Obrestad is now a Full Tilt Poker Pro.

This is perfect timing for Full Tilt Poker, as the World Series of Poker is less than a month away, and Obrestad is finally old enough to play in Las Vegas (she turned 21 just after the WSOP ended last year).

After winning the World Series of Poker Europe main event in September of 2007, Annette Obrestad was targeted by a number of different sites (including Full Tilt Poker) for a sponsorship deal. Most people at the time assumed that Obrestad would ink a deal with Full Tilt Poker, but she ended up signing with Betfair.

That was nearly three years ago, and I can only assume that her deal with Betfair ended at 12:01 am on May 1st.

This is a great signing for Full Tilt Poker, as Obrestad has been unbelievably successful in both online and "live" tournaments. In addition to winning numerous large online poker tournaments, Obrestad also has over $3 million in "live" cashes to her name, despite being just 21 years old. This includes her WSOPE main event title in 2007 and her second place finish at the EPT Dublin just a few months after that.

Full Tilt Poker is wasting no time in getting their latest signing involved in their site - Obrestad will be hosting the FTOPS XVI Main Event on Sunday.

Congratulations to "Annette_15" on her new deal with Full Tilt.
