PCA 2011 - Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure - PromoPokerstars unveiled the schedule for the 2011 PCA (Pokerstars Caribbean Adventure) earlier today.

The ten-day "festival", which will get underway on January 7th and run until January 16th, will feature over 50 different tournaments.

In addition to the $10,000 main event (which is expected to have a prize pool of approximately $20 million), there will also be a $25,000 High Roller event, a $10,000 Turbo 6-Max event and a $100,000 Super High Roller event.

Names such as Phil Ivey, Tom "durrrr" Dwan and Patrik Antonius (all members of "Team Full Tilt") were almost certainly going to be attending the 2011 PCA anyways, but the introduction of the $100,000 Super High Roller event to the schedule is certain to attract them like flies to honey. The $100,000 Super High Roller event (which actually gets underway on January 6th) is going to be broadcast on TV.

Pokerstars shrewdly placed the Super High Roller Event right at the beginning of the PCA schedule, which means that many of poker's top names will be around to participate in the $10k main event and $25k High Roller event later in the week. This will just add to the allure of the PCA main event, which has quickly become one of poker's biggest single tournaments.

PCA satellites are currently running on Pokerstars. You have just over three months to try to win your seat to the main event, which officially gets underway on January 8th, 2011.
