Tom Dwan celebrating a lilMany of poker's top names have made a return to the online tables this month after finishing up a hectic September schedule.

Tom "durrrr" Dwan has gotten his month off to a strong start, banking a little over $1.05 million in profits over a total of 8,727 tracked hands. "durrrr" now sits with a little over $4 million ($4,013,332 to be exact) in total profits on Full Tilt Poker in 2010, which is a nice rebound after last year's $4.35 million downswing.

Andreas "skjervoy" Torbergsen, who has managed to catapult himself into the biggest online cash games in the world over the past year, has made approximately $732k so far in October. "skjervoy", who recently became a "red" pro on Full Tilt, is now up over $2.5 million on Full Tilt Poker for the year.

Other notable names who are off to strong starts in October include:

Di "Urindanger" Dang, +627k
Patrik Antonius, +410k
Erik "DIN_FRU" Sagstrom, +376k
Daniel "jungleman12" Cates, +340k

"durrrr" and "jungleman12" have hooked up for a couple of short "durrrr Challenge" sessions so far this month, with Dwan making a slight dent in Cates' lead. After 7,660 hands, "jungleman12" is up about $658k.

Gus Hansen, fresh off of winning his first World Series of Poker bracelet last month, has dropped over $1.5 million on FTP over the first 9 days of October.

This brings Hansen's losses for the year on Full Tilt Poker up to $3.63 million, which means that he has suffered (by far) the largest losses of any other player on the site in 2010. According to HighStakesDB.com, Gus Hansen is down over $9.2 million on Full Tilt Poker since the beginning of 2009.

Other notable names who have had rough starts to the month include:

Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies, -964k
"WastedPotential", -455k
David Oppenheim, -315k
"cadillac1944", -298k

For a reason known only to him, "WastedPotential" decided to look horns with Patrik Antonius earlier this month, and predictably lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in the process.

"Isildur1" also popped up on Full Tilt Poker earlier this month, and has dropped a total of $193,777.50 over 12,910 tracked hands.
