The King presents Poker After DarkEarlier this week, Brian Hastings revealed in a blog posting that he would be participating in an upcoming taping of "Poker After Dark".

The interesting tidbit of information that Hastings revealed was that he would be participating in a Pot Limit Omaha cash game on the show. Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan and Phil Galfond were just some of the names that were expected to also be involved in the game.

This represented a dramatic change of pace for not only "Poker After Dark" but poker television shows in general. No Limit Hold'em has been the game of choice for practically every poker TV show that has been aired since the start of the "poker boom" back in 2003. Despite its rising popularity in poker, Pot Limit Omaha has generally not be featured on TV - until now.

Anyways, one of the participants in the "Poker After Dark" PLO cash game, Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond, took to his blog on Bluefirepoker.com to reveal some more details of the recent "Poker After Dark" tapings.

Galfond revealed that he had participated in two separate "Poker After Dark" tapings while in Las Vegas - a "6 handed 100k sit n go" with a winner take all format, and the above mentioned Pot Limit Omaha cash game. Galfond said that these were "two of the biggest/sickest games they've ever recorded."

According to Galfond, the six participants of the 100k Sit and Go were:

-Phil Galfond
-Tom Dwan
-Erick Lindgren
-Phil Ivey
-Huck Seed
-John Juanda

Phil also revealed that the Pot Limit Omaha cash game was $300/$600 with a $100k minimum buy-in, and featured the following players:

-Phil Galfond
-Tom Dwan
-Phil Ivey
-Patrik Antonius
-Brian Hastings
-Brandon Adams
-Jared "Harrington10" Bleznick

These episodes will air sometime in 2011.
