Tom Dwan ChallengeTom "durrrr" Dwan and Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates hooked up for a rare session of the second "durrrr Challenge" on Friday, with Dwan managing to grind out a small win.

Before today's action, 7,660 of 50,000 hands had been completed in the second "durrrrr Challenge", with "Jungleman12" holding a lead of $657,774.

Dwan and Cates played 2,123 hands on Friday, with Dwan managing to post a gain of just over $12,000.

Here is how the second "durrrr Challenge" currently stands after roughly three months of play:

9,783 of 50,000 hands Completed
Leader: Daniel "Jungleman12" Cates, +$645,667.00

Those who were hoping for a quick end to the second "durrrr Challenge" have been disappointed, as the battle between Dwan and Cates hasn't even passed the 10,000 hand mark after three months of play. The reason behind the slow pace of the challenge seems to be Dwan's travel schedule, as he has been criss-crossing the globe since the start of the challenge in late August. Hopefully things pick up a bit over the coming months..

Here is a recap of one of the largest hands from Friday's session:

"Jungleman12" has the button and around $44k in front of him, while "durrrr" has about $57k.

After some pre-flop raising, there is $8,800 in the pot when the flop comes 5s-Qh-2s.

"durrrr" checks, "Jungleman12" bets $2,800 and "durrrr" calls.

The turn brings the 7h.

"durrrr" checks, "Jungleman12" bets $8,400 and "durrrr" calls.

The river brings the 3d. "durrrr" checks yet again, "Jungleman12" pushes (about $28,500) and "durrrr" quickly makes the call. The two players turn over:

"durrrr" - 5d-7s (two pair)
"Jungleman12" - Kd-6h (King High)

The first "durrrr Challenge" between Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius is still inactive, as the two haven't hooked up for a session since early August. As far as I know, Antonius hasn't officially given up yet.
