Who is "Ben86"?
"Ben86" is the Pokerstars account of Ben Tollerene. Tollerene also plays on Full Tilt Poker as "Bttech86".
Ben Tollerene started using poker as his primary source of income back in January of 2007. Since then, "Ben86" has enjoyed success in both cash games and tournament play. Tollerene continued to grind out his post-secondary education during this time, eventually graduating with a Finance degree from Texas Tech University.
Tollerene has managed to make over a million dollars in online MTTs over the course of his career. His largest ever cash came in a $1k Monday tournament ($2 million guaranteed) on Full Tilt Poker back in March of 2011, where he ended up finishing in 6th place for just over $80k. Tollerene also had a $74k cash in a FTOPS (Full Tilt Online Poker Series) back in May of 2010.
Tollerene, who is currently 23 years old, posted his first "live" tournament cash at the 2011 World Series of Poker. Tollerene managed to post four cashes during the series, including a 7th place finish in the $10k NLHE Six Handed Championship. Tollerene finished just short of the final table, but still managed to collect nearly $100k for his efforts.
"Ben86" is best known for his participation in the high stakes PLO games on Pokerstars. According to HighStakesDB.com, "Ben86" is up nearly $180k lifetime on Pokerstars, with his biggest pot ($99,656) coming against "gavz101".
Like many other players, "Ben86" started out playing NLHE but has since gravitated to Pot Limit Omaha.
