Up until February of 2011, "Dodgyfish72" was an unknown on Pokerstars.

That all changed when he earned himself the right to play Viktor "Isildur1" Blom in the fifth "Superstar Showdown" on Pokerstars.

"Dodgyfish72" qualified to play Viktor "Isildur1" Blom after successfully navigating through a 124-player $11 qualifying tournament AND a 140-player final tournament.

Thanks to his victory in these two tournaments, "Dodgyfish72" became the fifth player to take on "Isildur1" in the "Superstar Showdown". Thanks to his two wins, "Dodgyfish72" earned himself the right to sit across from Blom at four $5/$10 No Limit Hold'em tables. According to the rules of the "Showdown" promotion, "DodgyFish72" will get to keep any money that he still has left at the end of the 2,500 hand challenge.

Prior to battling Viktor Blom on February 27th, 2011, the highest stakes that "DodgyFish72" had played at on Pokerstars was $2/$4 No Limit Hold'em. Having said that, "DodgyFish72" only played 10 hands and managed to leave a $68 winner.

It's interesting to note that "DodgyFish72" practiced his heads-up game at $0.50/$1 prior to his battle with "Isildur1", but things didn't go that well, as he lost $1,407 over a total of 2,049 hands.

"DodgyFish72" will always have the distinction of being the first amateur player to ever take on "Isildur1" in the "Superstar Showdown".
