Pokerstars and Full Tilt logosIs the Full Tilt Poker saga finally about to end?

It appeared earlier today that another Friday would pass without any news regarding the rumored Pokerstars/Full Tilt Poker acquisition.

That was until Wendeen Eolis of the Poker Player Newspaper (link below) penned an article title "Full Tilt Pokerstars Negotiations in the Can", in which she wrote that the negotiations between Pokerstars and the US Department of Justice have "come to an end" and that "it is safe to say announcements for public dissemination are in the works". She followed this up by saying that "at this point I am ready to go out on a limb; FTP customers will see their monies well in time for Christmas shopping".

That was followed up by the always reliable "Diamond Flush" releasing this message on Twitter:

"Long awaited news coming at http://diamondflushpoker.com next few days. No speculation, no rumors, real news."

After that, Kevin Mathers (@kevmath) posted this:

"Apparently, there will be an announcement regarding Stars and FTP on Monday. #staytuned ?"

and Jennifer Newell (@WriterJen) posted this:

"A very reliable source just told me the Stars/FTP deal is done. If no announcement today, it will happen on Monday. Book it."

as well as this:

"Update from same source: Announcement to be made on Monday, July 30."

Is the resolution of the Pokerstars/Full Tilt Poker/Department of Justice saga finally at hand? If so, what will the final deal look like?

Sounds like we may finally have some answers on Monday (*fingers crossed*).
