What does the term "orbit" mean in the world of poker? What is the definition of the term "orbit"?
In poker, an "orbit" is similar to a runner racing around a track. In that case, each time that the runner completes one full circle of the track, they are said to have run a lap.

In poker, position is everything, and serving as the dealer represents the strongest position of any of the spots that you can occupy at the table. Once the flop has been dealt, the button is going to be the last player to act, which provides an enormous advantage.
As any decent poker player will tell you, understanding position is an extremely crucial part of becoming a winning poker player.
