Winner of BIG ONE for ONE DROP To Take Home Over $18 Million

The King is reporting on the latest from The Big One for One Drop tournament at the WSOP 2012On Friday afternoon, Guy Laliberte (founder of Cirque de Soleil and ONE DROP Chairman) announced that the BIG ONE for ONE DROP was officially a sell out.

The BIG ONE for ONE DROP features a buy-in of $1 million, with $111,111 of each buy-in going to the ONE DROP charity. This leaves a total prize pool of $42,666,672.

The payouts for the event will look like this:

1st - $18,346,673
2nd - $10,112,001
3rd - $4,352,000
4th - $2,645,333
5th - $1,834,666
6th - $1,621,333
7th - $1,408,000
8th - $1,237,333
9th - $1,109,333

The list of participants for the event is coming into focus. Tom Dwan, David Einhorn, Phil Galfond, Phil Ivey, Ben Lamb, Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi, Daniel Negreanu, Erik Seidel, Sam Trickett and Dan Shak are just some of the names that will be participating in the tournament.
