Phil Ivey Moves Into Tie With Johnny Moss With His Ninth Bracelet

The King is pointing towards Phil Ivey - Winner of 9th WSOP BraceletPhil Ivey won Event #3 ($2,200 Mixed Event) of the WSOP Asia Pacific earlier today to capture the ninth World Series of Poker bracelet of his career.

With his victory, Ivey moves into a tie with Johnny Moss on the all-time bracelet list. The top of that list now looks like this:

Phil Hellmuth - 13 Bracelets
Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan - 10 Bracelets
Johnny Moss, Phil Ivey - 9 Bracelets
Erik Seidel - 8 Bracelets

Ivey had some work to do to win his ninth bracelet, as second place finisher Brandon Wong pushed Phil to the limit. In the end, Ivey was able to triumph, taking home the coveted bracelet and $51,840 in the process.
