Strong Turnout For SCOOP Main Event

The 2013 SCOOP (Spring Championship of Online Poker) is set to take place on Pokerstars later today.

The event, which officially gets underway at 14:30 ET, is comprised of three different tournaments - one with a Low buy-in ($109), one with a Medium buy-in ($1,050) and one with a High buy-in ($10,300).

Late registration for the three events will be open for a number of hours, but the guarantees for all three events have already easily been surpassed:

Low Buy-in - $1,000,000 Guarantee
Currently 15,601 entries, $1,560,100 Prize Pool

Medium Buy-in - $2,000,000 Guarantee
Currently 2,832 entries, $2,832,000 Prize Pool

High Buy-in - $3,000,000 Guarantee
Currently 349 Entries, $3,490,000 Prize Pool

As mentioned, late registration for all three tournaments will be open for a while, so there is still some time to register if you haven't done so as of yet.

In addition to the Main Event, the final day of SCOOP 2013 will also feature the No Limit Hold'em [8-Max] event and the SCOOP Wrap-Up [3x Chance, Turbo], which will get underway at 17:00 ET.
