New Jersey Straight Ahead - SignOn Thursday morning, the "soft launch" of the New Jersey online gaming market is officially set to begin.

Select patrons have been invited to participate in soft launches on the sites that have already received transactional waivers. The following partnerships will be eligible to begin their soft launches on Thursday morning:

-Bally's/888
-Trump Taj Mahal/Ultimate Gaming/CAMS
-Tropicana/Gamesys
-Caesars/Amaya
-Golden Nugget/Bally Technologies/Amaya
-Borgata/bwin.party/Amaya/CAMS
-Trump Plaza/Betfair/GameAccount/Amaya/CAMS

Assuming that the soft launches go according to plan, companies will be eligible to participate in New Jersey's full launch that is scheduled to take place on the morning of November 26th.

One notable company that will NOT be part of tomorrow's soft launch is Pokerstars.

Eric Hollreiser, Head of Corporate Communications for Pokerstars, had this to say on Twitter earlier this evening:

"Our conversations with NJ DGE are continuing, however it is now apparent that we will not have approval in place to launch on Nov. 26. We remain committed to working with the Division to complete the review process"

As mentioned previously, Pokerstars is facing considerable opposition as it tries to enter the New Jersey market via a partnership with the Resorts Casino Hotel. It still remains to be seen as to whether or not Pokerstars will eventually be allowed into the New Jersey online gaming market.
