Daniel Negreanu, Daniel Cates Amongst New Confirmed Entrants

The "BIG ONE For ONE DROP", which will run from June 29th to July 1st, now has a field of 41 confirmed entrants.

The tournament, which has a $1,000,000 buy-in, has a 56 player cap. If the cap is hit (and that looks like a distinct possibility at this point), the winner of the event will walk away with a payout of over $20,000,000.

Here are the newest confirmed participants for the event:

Daniel Cates
Daniel Colman
Tom Hall
Isaac Haxton
Anonymous Businessman
John Morgan
Greg Merson
Daniel Negreanu
Doug Polk
Scott Seiver
Talal Shakerchi

These players will join the likes of Phil Ivey, Vanessa Selbst, Antonio Esfandiari (the winner of the first BIG ONE For ONE DROP), Phil Galfond and Erik Seidel as confirmed participants of the event.

Other players, including Phil Hellmuth, are looking to play in the event if they can raise enough money to do so.

Here is what Hellmuth had to say via his Twitter account:

"I'm raising money for $1 million One Drop tourney: $100,000 for 9%. Finished 4th in 2012, skipped it in 2013 because I wasn't in form"
