The Big One for One Drop by WSOP - LogoThe final numbers for this year's $1,000,000 BIG ONE For ONE DROP event are now in.

42 players decided to throw their hats (and $1,000,000) into the ring this time around, which ended up creating a total prize pool of over $37.3 million. This turnout is down from the first $1,000,000 BIG ONE For ONE DROP event (2012) when a total of 48 players entered. In 2012, the prize pool was $42,666,672 and Antonio Esfandiari took down over $18.3 million for his victory.

The top eight finishers in this year's event will take home at least $1,306,607. Here is how the payouts look:

1. $15,306,668
2. $8,288,001
3. $4,480,001
4. $2,800,000
5. $2,053,334
6. $1,680,000
7. $1,418,667
8. $1,306,607

Tournament organizers instituted a hard cap of 56 players for this event. If that number had been hit, the first place prize would have been north of $20 million.

Tom Hall, 9,125,000
