The King is reading the latest news. Party Poker eliminates withdrawal fees.Earlier today, Partypoker.com (which is now owned by GVC Holdings PLC) revealed that they were eliminating all withdrawal fees for their customers.

In the summer of 2015, Partypoker said that they were eliminating withdrawal fees for Mastercard, Visa and bank transfers. Today, a number of other popular transfer methods had their withdrawal fees eliminated as well, including Neteller, Skrill and Webmoney. These moves, which are part of the company's "Poker for the People" campaign, are intended to "go the extra mile to help create the online poker site that you want to play at and be part of".

With the growing unhappiness at Pokerstars, which is the 800 pound gorilla of the online poker world, other online poker rooms such as PartyPoker.com are trying to capitalize on an opportunity to take some of the behemoth's market share.

According to Pokerscout.com, PartyPoker is currently the sixth largest online poker network in the world, behind Pokerstars, 888poker, Bodog, iPoker and Winamax.fr.

The changes that PartyPoker have been implementing as of late seem to be having a positive effect, as their numbers are up significantly over the past six months. Sure, Partypoker's numbers are not even close to Pokerstars, though they are trending in the right direction, which is music to the ears of people who have decided to leave Pokerstars in recent months.

It will be interesting to see the impact of these changes on Partypoker's player base going forward.
