In addition, the online poker site is planning to launch a "brand new" Power Series on Monday, March 5th that will feature "increased guarantees, an improved mix of game types and optimized structures".

According to partypoker, the main software improvements that will be released on February 24th are:

On top of that, partypoker is promising a "number of smaller enhancements" that will improve "the look and feel of the tables".

According to the site, these improvements are the direct result of the player feedback that the site has been collecting over the past few months.

To coincide with the new Power Series that is launching on March 5th, partypoker also revealed that they will be launching the new Power Series Leaderboard on that date as well.

The Power Series leaderboard will be divided into three tiers - Low, Medium and High - with the top 20 players on each leaderboard receiving prizes each week.

The top 10 finishers on the High leaderboard will all receive $5,300 tickets to the Millions Online, while the top finishers on the Medium and Low leaderboards will receive tickets ranging in value from $22 to $530.

The top 20 players on each leaderboard will receive prizes at the end of each week.

To set things off in the right way, partypoker said that they will be paying out double the weekly prizes ($60,000 up to $120,000) for the first month of the new Leaderboard promotion.
