Christmas Morning For Online Poker Players as Two Series Wind Up

Spring Championship of Online Poker and Pokerstars Powerfest - Tournament logos - Year 2018.It's Christmas morning for the online poker world as both the SCOOP (Spring Championship of Online Poker) and Powerfest series host their main events today.

Pokerstars has a full line-up of SCOOP events planned for the final Sunday of the event, including the three main events.

The Low buy-in ($109) main event has a guarantee of $1.5 million, the Medium buy-in ($1,050) has a guarantee of $4 million and the High buy-in ($10,300) has a guarantee of $5 million. All three of these events will get underway at 21:00 ET.

In addition, Pokerstars will also be hosting a number of other SCOOP events today, including the Sunday Kickoff, the Sunday Warm-Up and a couple of Progressive KO events.

Partypoker is also wrapping up their Powerfest series later today - there are dozens of events on the site's Powerfest schedule for Sunday, including three events with guarantees of $1 million:

Powerfest #81-SHR Championship Event - PKO, $5,200 buy-in, 09:00
Powerfest #82-HR Championship Event - $530 buy-in 09:00
Powerfest #83-HR Championship Event - PKO, $1,050 11:00

In addition, there are multiple events on the schedule today that have guarantees of $500,000 on partypoker as well.

For online poker players in countries that allow participation on Pokerstars and partypoker, this is one of the very busiest days of the year.
