The Pokerstars WCOOP and Partypoker Pokerfest are on before 2018 is over. Join in.September is probably the most intense month of the year for online tournament grinders, especially with the recent upswing in the popularity of partypoker.

September features two of the biggest online poker series of the year - the WCOOP (World Championship of Online Poker) on Pokerstars and Powerfest on partypoker.

The 2018 WCOOP on Pokerstars, which gets underway on September 2nd, features a ridiculous $116 million+ in total guaranteed prize money. As usual, there are Low, Medium and High buy-ins for each of the 61 different events, which means that there will be nearly 200 individual tournaments that will comprise this year's WCOOP.

Powerfest also has Low, Medium and High buy-in levels for each event, which will result in a total of 670 tournaments ranging in buy-in from $1.10 all the way up to $25,500.

partypoker's Powerfest will be guaranteeing more than $60 million in prize money, which means that between the WCOOP and Powerfest, more than $175 million USD will be paid out to online poker players across the world.

This is obviously an insane amount of money and is one of the major benefits of partypoker growing in stature over the past couple of years. Competition is a good thing for players, and both Pokerstars and partypoker want to continue to wow with their guaranteed prize pools.
