There is a new timeline for the Super High Roller V event. It will take place in December.Earlier this week, Poker Central announced that the Super High Roller Bowl would be permanently moving to December.

Prior to this announcement, the Super High Roller Bowl had its home in the second half of May, and this provided players and fans with a nice bit of excitement to get pumped up for the World Series of Poker.

The fifth edition of the Super High Roller Bowl, which will take place at the PokerGO Studio, will now be taking place on Dec 17-19. This date will take advantage of the fact that many top poker players will already be in town for the WPT Five Diamond World Poker Classic, which runs from December 11-15.

The buy-in for Super High Roller Bowl V will be $300,000, with players needing to submit a $30,000 deposit by November 26th.

The field size will be capped at 48 players, which means that there will be a total prize pool of $14.4 million.

25 of the 48 spots will be determined via a live lottery, which will be streamed on PokerGO on Tuesday, November 27th.

18 seats will be reserved for ARIA VIP guest entrants. These spots are typically given to the big name players that aren't lucky enough to win a seat via the live lottery.

The remaining 5 spots will be awarded to the top finishers in the 2018 High Roller of the Year points race. If a player declines to accept, their spot will go to the next highest finisher on the list.

Despite the relatively short notice, this event should sell out easily.
