This tournament has a unique process for determining who will be eligible to play.

A committee extends invitations to notable recreational players and/or businessmen. Each of these players are then allowed to invite one guest player/professional poker player to take part as well, subject to approval by the committee.

When the tournament gets underway, the recreational players/businessmen will be kept separate from the professional players for a total of six levels. After that, a table re-draw will take place, and all of the remaining players in the tournament will be combined into one field.
