September is a busy month in the world of online poker. The year is 2019.September is going to be a busy month in the online poker and Twitch.tv poker worlds, as Pokerstars and partypoker are both set to host major events.

Pokerstars, of course, will be hosting their WCOOP (World Championship of Online Poker) tournament series, which will feature a total of 219 events and over $75 million in total prize money.

The 2019 WCOOP will get underway on September 5th and run until September 23rd.

There will be two WCOOP main events, including a $55 buy-in event with a total guarantee of $1,250,000, as well as a $5,200 buy-in event with a guarantee of $10,000,000.

partypoker will also be hosting a major series in September, as the KO Series will be running on their site from Sunday, September 8th until Sunday, September 22nd.

This tournament series is a bit different, as all of the tournaments will be in the PKO format (Progressive Knockout), which continues to grow in popularity. partypoker points out that they will not be charging rake on the bounty element of your buy-in, which has been their ongoing policy on PKO events for a while.

The schedule for the September KO Series hasn't been revealed as of yet, though partypoker is promising total guarantees of $30 million, which means that the WCOOP and KO Series will have well north of $100 million in total guarantees, with the final prize pool numbers likely to be much higher.

With both Pokerstars and partypoker placing a major emphasis on streaming as of late, Twitch.tv should be filled with almost constant WCOOP and KO Series action in September.
