The Player of the Year race is in focus at the upcoming World Series of Poker Europe - Year 11.The 11th edition of the World Series of Poker Europe will get underway at King's Resort in Rozvadov, Czech Republic on Sunday afternoon.

This year's WSOPE will feature a total of 15 bracelet events, and these events will have a total guaranteed prize pool of €22,472,450.

According to tournament organizers, last year's event paid out a total of €20,977,184 in prize money, which obviously makes this year's edition of the WSOPE much bigger.

The main event will have a buy-in of €10,350 and a total guaranteed prize pool of €5,000,000.

This year's WSOPE features a couple of massive buy-in events, including a €250,000 Super High Roller event and a €100,000 Diamond High Roller event.

In addition, there are three events with buy-ins of €25,500, including a Short Deck High Roller event, a Platinum High Roller event and a Mixed Games Championship.

The first event, which is a €350 No Limit Hold'em event, will get underway on Sunday, October 13th.

The last event of the series, which is a €550 Colossus No Limit Hold'em event, gets underway on October 30th.

All eyes will be on the WSOP POY race, which will conclude at the WSOPE.

Daniel Negreanu and Shaun Deeb, who absolutely despite each other, sit near the top of the WSOP POY leaderboard, with Deeb in second place and Negreanu in third.

Both men have won the WSOP POY in the past, and both men desperately want to win it again this year, if only to deny their nemesis from winning.

Negreanu and Deeb will both be in attendance, and both will likely be playing as many events as they possibly can.

Good luck to everybody who plans on playing at the WSOPE this year.
