There will be a likely photo finish in the Player of the Year race in 2019.As of this moment, Daniel Negreanu sits at the top of the WSOP POY leaderboard with a total of 3,971.54 points.

Robert Campbell sits in second place with 3,857.97 points, while Shaun Deeb is in third place with 3,710.64.

There are two events remaining that count towards the WSOP POY calculations - the 10k main event, which is near its completion, as well as the €550 Colossus event.

There are as many as 1,227 WSOP POY points up for grabs in the WSOPE main event.

There are two players that currently sit in the top 20 of the WSOP POY leaderboard that are still alive in the WSOPE main event - Anthony Zinno, who is currently the chip leader in the main event, and Dario Sammartino.

With a victory in the main event, neither player would catch Daniel Negreanu at the top of the WSOP POY leaderboard, though both men could draw themselves within striking distance.

A win for Anthony Zinno would put him about 30 points behind Negreanu at the top of the leaderboard, while a win for Sammartino would put him about 150 points back of Negreanu.

The deciding event will be Event #15, which is the €550 Colossus event with a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000.

The event has eight starting flights, with the last set for 6 pm on Saturday, November 2nd.

This means that anybody who is playing in the main event will have more than enough time to hop into the Colossus.

If Sammartino or Zinno win the main event, you could potentially have six players that could still win the POY title, given the number of points that will be on the line in the final event of the WSOPE.
