Irish Poker Open To Move Online For 2020

Another poker event forced to move to online format. Irish Green - IllustrationAs a result of the Coronavirus outbreak, yet another postponed/cancelled live tournament series has been moved online to partypoker.

The Irish Poker Open was yet another tournament series that was ruined by the Coronavirus. Last week, however, tournament organizers announced that the series would be held online this year at partypoker. The Irish Poker Open joins events such as the Poker Masters as tournament series that have been moved online in recent weeks.

Last week, the schedule for the Irish Open Online was released.

The tournament series will have a slightly different schedule compared to the original Irish Poker Open, though many of the events will remain the same.

The series will run from April 6th, 2020 to April 12th, 2020 and will feature a total of 22 different events.

The first event is the €320 No Limit Hold'em tournament, which gets underway at 18:00 on Monday, April 6th, 2020 and features a guaranteed prize pool of €100,000.

The Irish Open Online Main event, which features a buy-in of €1,100, has multiple opening day flights and will get underway on Wednesday, April 8th,.

The main event will have a guaranteed prize pool of €1,000,000.

The final event of the series is the €162 Deepstack Turbo, which gets underway on April 12th, 2020.

Satellites for the main event are currently running on partypoker.com.

There is a great deal of excitement about this event being moved online, as the Irish Poker Open has developed quite a following over the years.
