POWERFEST Series Extended To April 19th, $60 Million Now Guaranteed

This year's POWERFEST on partypoker is the series that literally just won't quit.

Earlier this week, partypoker announced that they were extending the series - again.

As a result, the POWERFEST series, which started all the way back on March 15th, will now go until April 19th (for now).

In total, partypoker is guaranteeing $60 million in prize money. There are hundreds of events taking place, with tournaments for people of all bankrolls.

There has been a massive surge in online poker traffic over the past month or so, as roughly half of the planet is in self-isolation right now.

This leaves precious little to do, which is why so many people have turned to online poker since the start of March.

The industry, which has been largely stagnant over the past decade or so, has been revitalized. Online poker traffic is soaring, and many sites are reporting that their guarantees are being smashed.

partypoker has capitalized on this trend by extending their POWERFEST series multiple times, much to the delight of the online poker playing public.

With the spring and even summer slate of live poker tournaments in mortal danger of being cancelled, who knows how long this POWERFEST might get extended for?
