Combined Guarantee Now $135 Million For Entire Series

Many online poker players across the world are currently trapped indoors as their countries battle the Coronavirus outbreak.

This has resulted in massive fields for online poker tournaments, no matter the site.

Pokerstars has decided to extend its 2020 SCOOP festival as a result, with the tournament series now scheduled to run until May 31st.

As a result of the extension, the 2020 SCOOP will now have total guarantees of $135 million, combined the events that were originally announced plus the newly added ones.

In total, Pokerstars has added an additional 132 events to its SCOOP 2020 schedule.

There are a total of seven newly added SCOOP tournaments that will have a guaranteed prize pool of $1 million.

This includes three "Second Chance" Main events on Sunday, May 24th, a $10,300 High Roller event on Tuesday, May 26th and two "A Sunday Million To Remember" events on Sunday, May 31st.

Partypoker extended their "POWERFEST" series multiple times as a result of the greatly increased traffic on their sites as a result of the worldwide lockdowns.

Now Pokerstars is following suit, much to the delight of poker players around the world.
