Multiple High Guarantee Tournaments Marking King's Resort Return to Action

The Czech border has opened and the popular casino is getting more action.Earlier this month, King's Resort, home of the World Series of Poker Europe, received some very good news.

The Czech government elected to re-open the borders with Germany, Austria and Hungary. There were no conditions to entry or re-entry, and people were now able to come and go as they pleased.

For King's Resort, which attracts many poker players from these three countries, the news was welcome.

At the time, smaller poker tournaments were already under way, as King's Casino had re-opened their doors earlier in the spring.

With the Czech borders open again, however, King's Resort is stepping up their tournament action in order to help celebrate their 17th Anniversary.

This includes a €170 buy-in, €170,000 guaranteed event that will run from June 22nd to June 29th. Two World Series of Poker Europe tickets have also been added to the prize pool.

This will officially be the largest "live" poker tournament since the world shut down due to the COVID-19 virus.

This is also likely very good news for the World Series of Poker Europe, which is still set to take place later this year.

On top of that, King's Resort will also be hosting a €100,000 guaranteed Pot Limit Omaha event that will run from June 20-21.

The resort is also streaming cash game action on their Twitch.tv account.

While the rest of the world is struggling to get back up and running, King's Resort is getting back to nearly full speed.
