Doug Polk Set To Square Off Against Tom Dwan In First Round

Five days of action are coming up in a heads up poker championship.The first round matches for the World Poker Tour $25,000 Heads Up Poker Championship have now been set.

The tournament, which will be taking place online, is set to run from June 18th to June 22nd.

There are a total of 32 entrants, and the prize pool is $800,000.

There will be a total of five days of action, with the tournament getting underway at 11 am PST on June 18th. The final heads-up match will get underway at 11 am PST on June 22nd.

Each round will be a best-of-3 match, with blinds going up every seven hands, so don't expect any long and drawn-out contests.

There are a number of huge names in this tournament, including the likes of Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius and Tom "durrrr" Dwan, just to name a few.

Here are some of the more notable first round matches:

Steve Aoki v Dan Smith
Sam Greenwood v Kevin Rabichow
Doug Polk v Tom Dwan
Patrik Antonius v "GACKT"
Linus Loeliger v Olivier Busquet
Phil Ivey v Manig Loeser
"LuckyChewy" v Stephen Chidwick

Phil Ivey is on the opposite side of the bracket as Tom Dwan and Patrik Antonius.

It should also be noted that if Dwan and Antonius both win their first round matches, they will play each other in the second round.
