Koon Joins Negreanu, Grospellier As GGPoker Ambassadors

The GGPoker brand is on the rise.  New high profile ambassador has joined the team.Jason Koon is the newest GGPoker site ambassador following a ceremony at the Rio this past weekend.

Koon, who is in Las Vegas to play the World Series of Poker, was welcomed to the GGPoker team by Daniel Negreanu, who is also an ambassador for the site.

Koon stepped down from his ambassador role at Partypoker earlier in the year, and will now be repping GGPoker going forward.

GGPoker now has a roster of sponsored players that includes the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Jason Koon, Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Dan Bilzerian and Fedor Holz.

Jason Koon is not only one of the most successful players in the history of poker, but he is also one of the most respected as well.

Koon, who is just 36 years of age, has a little over $32.5 million in total lifetime tournament cashes, which puts him at 10th on the all-time money list.

Koon has posted eight $1,000,000+ cashes over the course of his career, with his largest cash coming in a 2018 Triton Poker Short Deck event, which he ended up taking down for over $3.5 million.

As mentioned, Koon is very well-respected in the poker world, and has been a fierce advocate for fairness in poker and the eradication of cheating tools.

Koon said that GGPoker's passion for creating an equal playing field was one of the reasons why he signed with the site.
