Main Event Will Now Feature Six Opening Day Flights

The Rio Hotel in Las Vegas - Home of the 2021 World Series of Poker.The World Series of Poker recently made the decision to add two opening day flights to the main event.

This came as a result of the United States government electing to open the country's doors to fully vaccinated travellers from over 30 different countries.

There are now six opening day flights - here are the start times for each:

Day 1A - Thursday, November 4th
11 am start

Day 1B - Friday, November 5th
11 am start

Day 1C - Saturday, November 6th
11 am start

Day 1D - Sunday, November 7th
11 am start

Day 1E - Monday, November 8th
11 am start

Day 1F - Tuesday, November 9th
12 pm start

Days 2A, 2B and 2D gets started at 11 am on Tuesday, November 9th and will feature the remaining players from Days 1A, 1B and 1D.

In addition, players who have yet to enter any previous flight will be able to register to play as well.

Days 2C, 2E and 2F will get started at 11 am on Wednesday, November 10th.

This will also be the last chance for anybody to register to play who has not yet participated in the event.

Day 3 will start at 11 am on Thursday, November 11th, and will combine all of the remaining players from Days 2A, 2B, 2C, 2D, 2E and 2F.
