A United States-facing poker event is a growing force, but failed to reach the tournament guarantee again.Americas Cardroom made a gallant effort, but they once again fell short of reaching the $10 million guarantee for their Venom event.

In total, the Venom tournament received 3,782 entries this time around.

In order to meet the $10 million guarantee, the tournament needed to finish with a total of 4,000 entries, so they ended up falling short.

ACR had to contribute around $550,000 to meet the $10 million guarantee.

Don't feel too bad for the site though, as they collected 3,782 $150 entry fees, so they ended up making a small profit on the event.
