Recent acquisition in the US online poker market is the final piece of the puzzle for the parent company.Earlier this evening, Phil Galfond announced that Rush Street Interactive would be acquiring the Run It Once Poker platform and team.

According to Galfond, Rush Street Interactive plans to "solidify, enhance, and integrate our software into their platform".

Galfond went on to say that he isn't sure when Run It Once Poker, under Rush Street Interactive, will make its debut.

A few months ago, Galfond said that Run It Once Poker would be pulling out of the ROW (Rest of World) market and focusing their efforts on the US market instead.

Run It Once Poker has decided that partnering up with a company is the best way forward.

Rush Street Interactive is currently operating within a number of US states. Their online sports betting platform is used in Pennsylvania, Colorado, Indiana and Illinois, while their online casino offering is used in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

The Run It Once Poker platform is the final piece of the puzzle for Rush Street and will allow the company to offer a full suite of online gaming options.

Run It Once Poker made a gallant attempt to compete against the likes of Pokerstars and GGPoker in the global online poker market, though the competition just ended up being too difficult.

Now, Galfond and his team will be working with Rush Street Interactive to attempt to penetrate the US online poker market.
