1. $50 Freeplay

Players on WSOP Michigan, like with BetMGM Michigan and Pokerstars Michigan, will only be able to play against fellow players from the state of Michigan for the time being.

The reason?

Michigan hasn't yet been accepted into the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement, which includes Delaware, Nevada and New Jersey.

The Michigan Gaming Control Board have said that they have applied for entry, though their application hasn't been accepted as of yet.

According to reports, the state was expected to be accepted in late 2021. Michigan is inviting operators to work on their "internal controls now" in preparation for acceptance into the multi-state compact.

The launch in Michigan comes a few months before the start of the World Series of Poker in Las Vegas. Naturally, WSOP Michigan is making the offering of WSOP main event seats a big part of their launch.
