A high stakes poker rematch has been agreed on.To the surprise of absolutely nobody, Scott Seiver has exercised his rematch clause against Phil Hellmuth.

As a result, Hellmuth and Seiver will be squaring off on "High Stakes Duel" sometime in August (dates to be announced) for a whopping sum of $1.6 million.

The high stakes matches on "High Stakes Duel" will continue to double in size until somebody wins three matches in a row or until a willing opponent can not be found.

Phil Hellmuth is currently on a two-game winning streak, which means that if he beats Scott Seiver for the second straight time, he is allowed to walk with all of his winnings.

If he loses, Hellmuth would be able to challenge Seiver in an even bigger match, with both players needing to put up $1.6 million.

Phil Hellmuth is a ridiculous 9-1 on "High Stakes Duel", and is looking to ride off into the sunset with a 10th victory.

Hellmuth was beaten Antonio Esfandiari (3x), Daniel Negreanu (3x), Nick Wright (1x), Tom Dwan (1x) and Scott Seiver (1x).

Hellmuth's lone loss came against Tom "durrrr" Dwan.

Hellmuth and Dwan were originally supposed to play each other a few weeks ago, though Dwan had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts, which led to Seiver taking his spot.

Hellmuth and Seiver are currently focusing on the World Series of Poker, with the "High Stakes Duel" match expected to take place sometime in August on PokerGO.
